Hybrid heating system 1
All articles
In a private house in the Kakumäe area, we installed a hybrid heating system: gas + Bosch air-to-water heat pump. The automation selects the optimal energy source depending on the outdoor temperature.
The primary energy source is the heat pump, supported by a natural-gas condensing boiler. Hot water is prepared using a 200-litre cylinder, which is also heated by the heat pump. The gas boiler can additionally heat water independently via a high-flow instantaneous water heater.
The Bosch mixing manifold system distributes temperature settings for the underfloor and radiator circuits, also depending on outdoor temperature. The system can be controlled via an app.
